코로나19로 전 세계인들의 일상이 통제된 지 1년이 훌쩍 지난 2021년 여름, 모든 나라가 코로나19 바이러스로부터 완전히 벗어나는 그 날을 희망하며, K-Pop 프로듀서와 한국 아티스트를 중심으로 12개국 70여 명의 가수와 연주자들이 음악으로 희망과 위로의 메시지를 전한다.

여전히 생사의 갈림길에 서성이며 고통받는 저개발 국가의 사회적 약자를 위한 글로벌 음악 프로젝트 'Together In Hope'는 K-pop 프로듀서 'Mad Soul Child'가 프로듀싱하였으며, 한국의 뮤지션 에일리 (Ailee), 강민수 (Aquinas), KARD의 BM, 바버렛츠의 경선, 울랄라 세션의 박광선, 리사 그리고 유튜버 Skye Park (박새늘)을 중심으로 미국의 Aanysa, Jim Wolf, Layla Khepri, 루마니아의 Aris, Brianna, 아일랜드의 Curtis Walsh, 영국의 Princes to Kings, Ramzi, 캐나다의 JENNA Nation, 일본의 Keiji Kawashima, Ryota Kaizo, 이스라엘의 Moran Levi, 이탈리아의 Nya Crea가 가창자로 참여했다.
유럽에서 활발히 활동하고 있는 한국인 피아니스트 원재연, 소금 및 대금 연주자 이주항을 비롯하여, 카타르 필하모닉 오케스트라 (Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra)의 연주자들, 그리고 한국의 가톨릭 챔버 오케스트라 (Catholic Chamber Orchestra)가 연주했으며, 세계 최고의 스튜디오인 영국 Abbey Road Studio의 Miles Showell이 마스터링을 담당했다.

'Against The Wind'는 코로나19라는 '시련의 바람'을 이겨내자는 메시지를 담은 희망적인 분위기의 팝으로, 전 세계인들을 대상으로 응원하고자 참여한 모든 아티스트가 영어로 노래했다.
한국적 분위기의 소금 선율로 시작하여 베토벤 9번 교향곡 '합창'을 모티브로 삼은 피아노 선율로 이어지는 'Against The Wind'의 전주는 한국을 중심으로 전 세계로 확장되는 희망의 메시지를 표현했다.
곡 후반부로 갈수록 고조되는 멜로디와 하모니, 웅장한 오케스트라 사운드는 힘겨운 시간을 보내고 있는 전 세계인들을 일으킬 힘을 실어준다.

Together In Hope 프로젝트의 음원 수익금은 글로벌 자선단체 'In Place of War'를 통해 코로나19로 고통받고 있는 저개발 국가의 어린이와 사회적 약자들을 위해 쓰여질 예정이다.
