인기 뮤지션 기리보이, 카더가든, 오왼 등으로부터 러브콜을 받아 화제가 된 싱어송라이터 유라(youra)가 tvN 수목드라마 ‘홈타운’(극본 주진/연출 박현석/제작 스튜디오 드래곤, 씨제스엔터테인먼트)의 첫 OST 주자로 발탁됐다.

 

Stone Music Entertainment는 “지난 22일 첫방송된 ‘홈타운’의 오프닝 타이틀 배경음악으로 쓰인 첫 OST ‘Remember’의 가창을 대세 싱어송라이터 유라가 맡았다. 몽환적이면서도 독특한 곡의 분위기와 잘 맞아 떨어지는 목소리로 드라마의 감동을 배가할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

‘Remember’는 몽환적인 분위기의 곡으로 강렬하게 터져 나오는 비트가 가슴을 울리는 얼터너티브 팝 스타일의 노래다. 일렉 기타와 신스 사운드가 어우러지며 만들어 내는 독특한 무드가 강한 중독성을 선사할 전망이다.

특히 ‘홈타운’에 등장하는 인물들의 상황과 감정을 대변하는 요소들을 곡 곳곳에 배치해 극적 효과를 극대화하며 듣는 이들에게 진한 몰입감을 줄 것으로 보인다.

이날 OST 제작사 측 한 관계자는 “후렴이 주는 반전이 감상 포인트가 될 것이며 소중한 존재를 잃은 주인공의 심경에 빗댄 노랫말 역시 쓸쓸한 여운을 남길 것으로 보인다. 드라마를 사랑하는 시청자들에게는 더할 나위 없는 OST가 될 것이다”며 기대를 당부했다.

이번에 ‘홈타운’의 첫 OST 주자로 발탁된 유라는 유니크한 보이스와 분위기를 기반으로 SNS 등에서 입지를 넓혀나가고 있는 대세 싱어송라이터다. 지난 2018년에 그룹 015B의 ‘나의 머리는 녹색’을 공동 작사, 작곡하며 이름을 알렸으며 이후 코스믹보이, 기리보이, 카더가든, 웨이체드, 기린, 그루비룸X릴러말즈, 오왼 등 다양한 뮤지션들의 러브콜을 받으며 두각을 나타내기 시작했다.

한편 ‘홈타운’은 1999년 사주시, 연이은 살인 사건을 쫓는 형사(유재명 분)와 납치된 조카를 찾아 헤매는 여자(한예리 분)가 사상 최악의 테러범(엄태구 분)에 맞서 비밀을 파헤치는 미스터리 스릴러로 매주 수, 목요일 밤 10시 30분에 방송된다.
