JTBC ‘슈퍼밴드2’ 출연을 통해 ‘한국의 아델’이라는 극찬을 받은 실력파 뮤지션 문수진이 ‘홈타운’의 OST Part 2 가창자로 참여했다.

 

지난 2018년 디지털 싱글 ‘밀리언’(MILLION)으로 데뷔한 문수진은 ‘데이 엔 나이트’(Day n Nite), ‘우’(Woo), ‘이 밤이’, ‘밤거리, ’저 달‘을 발매하며 독보적인 음색과 트렌디한 음악으로 대중의 사랑을 받았다. 뿐만 아니라 그레이, 사이먼 도미닉, 자이언티, NCT 태일 등과 협업하며 가요계에서 입지를 넓혀가고 있다.

문수진이 가창에 나선 곡 ‘Hide and Seek’는 엑소의 첸, 포레스텔라, 몬스타엑스와 작업한 바 있으며 드라마 ‘VIP’, ‘펜트하우스’ 등의 OST를 만든 SNNNY(쓰니)가 작사, 작곡을 맡았다.

‘Hide and Seek’는 일렉트릭 팝과 다크 팝이 절묘하게 어우러진 곡으로, 드라마가 가지고 있는 어두우면서도 미스터리한 분위기를 표현하고 있어 시청자들의 몰입을 돕는 역할을 할 것으로 전망된다.

이와 관련해 OST 측 관계자는 “레트로 신스를 통해 독특한 시대성을 담아내 의미가 있는 노래”라며 “후렴구부터 폭발하듯 터져나오는 강한 에너지가 듣는 이들을 압도하며 감상하는 즐거움을 선사할 것으로 보인다”고 설명했다.

아울러 뛰어난 가창력의 소유자답게 문수진이 자신만의 해석과 감성을 더해 ‘Hide and Seek’를 소화한 것으로 알려지며 이에 대한 기대감 역시 커져가고 있다.
