노르웨이와 잉글랜드의 DJ 겸 프로듀서 Alan Walker (알렌 워커)는 머리를 뒤덮은 검은 후드와 얼굴의 절반을 가리는 검은 마스크, 알파벳 A와 W를 교차시켜 만든 로고 등으로 트레이드 마크를 만들며 전 세계 EDM 신을 섭렵한 DJ이다.

 

2014년 무료 음원 발매 플랫폼인 NCS(No Copyrignt Sounds)에서 발표한 'Fade'가 웹상에서 큰 인기를 끌었고, 결국 2015년 12월 Iselin Solheim의 보컬을 얹은 리믹스 버전 'Faded'를 만들게 되는데, 이것이 유튜브 조회 수 13억을 넘기는 등 공전의 히트를 기록한다.

이후에도 다양한 싱글 작업 및 게임 "리그 오브 레전드"의 월드 챔피언십 테마곡을 리믹스하는 등의 활동을 펼쳤으며, 2018년 12월에는 그의 원대한 세계관을 확장시켜낸 첫 번째 정규작 [Different World]를 발표했다. 앨범에는 그를 스타덤에 올려놓은 'Faded', 'Alone', 'All Falls Down' 등과 신곡 'Lose Control', 'I Don't Wanna Go' 등이 포함된 15트랙을 담아냈다.
