그랑 드 꼬레-The Last Train

봄을 부르는 그랑 드 꼬레의 신작 ‘The Last Train’ 포근해진 날씨만큼이나 따뜻한 사운드, 하지만 여전한 겨울의 쓸쓸함이 느껴지는 새 싱글 ‘The Last Train’.

 

자신이 자리를 비운 사이 짝사랑하던 친구가 자신의 친한 친구와 사랑에 빠진 상황에 괴로워하는 주인공의 가사는 다소 찌질하지만 귀엽고, 귀여우면서도 쓸쓸하다.

짝사랑의 쓰라린 감정이 경쾌한 쓰리핑거 아르페지오 기타를 타고 흐르며 듣는 이로 하여금 묘한 감정에 빠져들게 한다. 봄에 어울리는 슬픔이라는 표현이 어느정도 적합하다고 느껴지는 곡이다.

세번째 싱글로 이어지는 악기 세션들은 이제는 마치 정식멤버처럼 느껴질 정도로 유기적인 편곡으로 곡을 채워주고 두 보컬 역시 더욱 탄탄한 화음을 보여주고 있다.
