[The Beginning : World Tree]

새로운 서사의 시작을 알리는 포레스텔라의 미니앨범 1집 대한민국 크로스오버 그룹 포레스텔라가 돌아왔다. 클래식한 오케스트레이션으로 채운 타이틀곡을 시작으로 다양한 장르와 스타일의 곡을 수록하며 독보적인 영향력을 선보이는 앨범이다. 포레스텔라의 세계관을 만날 수 있는 특별한 경험을 선사한다.

 

 

세계적인 거장 무라마츠 타카츠구 음악감독과 함께한 타이틀곡 'Save our lives'와 더불어 팬덤 숲별에게 전하는 팬송 '숲의 노래', 2021년 로얄 콘서트에서 선공개로 선보였던 ‘멀어지지 말아 주세요'의 정식 버전과 영국의 전통민요 ‘Greensleeves’를 포레스텔라의 색깔로 새롭게 녹여낸 Moonlight, 서정적이고 섬세한 멜로디의 For life 와 완성도 높은 인스트루멘탈을 모두 포함한 이번 앨범은 다양한 장르의 시도로 리스너의 감성을 채운다.

일본의 대표적인 음악감독이자 거장인 ‘타카츠구 무라마츠’가 포레스텔라의 앨범 타이틀곡을 위해 작곡을 한 곡이다. 그는 많은 사람의 사랑을 받았던 포레스텔라의 2집의 ‘Angel’의 작곡가로 이번 앨범을 통해 다시 한번 인연을 맺었다.
슬픔과 어두움에 쌓여있는 세상에 구원을 호소한다. 역경 속에서도 희망을 품고 다시 일어서는 메시지를 담은 곡이다.
41인조 오케스트라의 웅장한 사운드와 포레스텔라의 섬세한 화음이 조화를 이루면서 클래식하면서도 틀 안에 갇히지 않은 새로운 장르를 선사한다. ‘타카츠구 무라마츠’ 특유의 색깔이 잘 드러나는 메인 멜로디 라인을 포레스텔라 멤버들의 신비롭고 화려한 보이스 더빙이 감싸면서 입체적인 보컬 사운드가 특징인 곡이다.
