웨일 [Whale and The moon]
Whale and The moon 이란 타이틀로 길었던 공백만큼 풍부해진 감성으로 웨일이 돌아왔다.

 

Obsession 이란 곡은 웨일이 2013년에 작곡한 이후로 오랜 시간 숙성하 듯 때를 기다려, 드디어 2021년 8년 만에 대중 앞에 발표하는 곡이다. 1940년대 미국의 서커스 퍼레이드 영상을 보고 영감을 받아 축음기에서 들리는 듯한 빈티지한 기타사운드에 역동적이고 위트있게 편곡의 색깔을 입혔다.

웨일은 자신의 메시지를 음악 안에 솔직하고, 담대하게 담아내려는 이상을 끊임없이 표현해 내고 있다.
