그룹 투모로우바이투게더가 미국 아티스트 이안 디올(iann dior)과 특별한 컬래버레이션을 만들어 냈다. 투모로우바이투게더(수빈, 연준, 범규, 태현, 휴닝카이)는 22일 이안 디올과 협업한 록과 힙합이 결합된 인디 얼터너티브(indie alternative) 장르의 ‘Valley of Lies (feat. iann dior)’를 발표했다.

이번 컬래버레이션은 투모로우바이투게더의 트렌디하고 공감대 높은 음악을 눈여겨봐 온 이안 디올의 제안으로 성사됐다. ‘Valley of Lies (feat. iann dior)’는 사랑하는 이의 숱한 거짓말들이 켜켜이 쌓인 계곡을 지나 사랑의 끝을 향해 쓸쓸하게 걷고 있는 모습을 그린다.

 

 

연인의 끝없는 거짓말로 인해 사랑이 결국 잿빛으로 물들어 버린 현실을 애도하는 가사, 그리고 이에 상반되는 밝고 생동감 넘치는 멜로디가 인상적이다. 어쿠스틱 기타의 선율과 아련한 분위기를 더하는 키보드, 활기찬 드럼  사운드를 중심으로 투모로우바이투게더 다섯 멤버와 이안 디올의 음색이 멋진 하모니를 이룬다.
